Pleased so far
Easy to unpack and drape. Our bales are about 5’ around and there is plenty of extra netting and rope - probably could fit an 8’ bale easily. It definitely makes the cows slow down and waste is down about 25-30% when you start. The only challenge has been at the end of the bale when the whole thing is laying in the ground and is about 6” tall. The net compresses and the holes become too small to get hay out of so we have just turned out the last of the loose hay onto the ground in a little pile and they clean most of it up quickly before it gets contaminated. So far - working well here in very hot and dry North Texas. That’s why I’m sending the review in August - we are already having to use hay because all the native grass has burned out due to no rain. So he extra $$$ savings works. Thanks.
