Good product with some minor flaws

Good product. It's a bit on the heavy side (takes two people to install) and the locking mechanism takes up more interior space than it needs to. The felt padding covers the installation holes and is hard to remove but you can't drill through it. Instructions could be clearer. You'll need metric tools to install. But the unit is very solid and well-constructed, true to listed sizes, and nice-looking. All in all, a product that is worth its price.

Works Nice

The first safe arrived unable to open. Viking was very easy to work with - they sent a new safe right away. If you know how to use tools, the install is fairly easy. Fit just shy of 16” studs (by design I imagine in case studs were slightly less than 16” on center). Set up was easy - fingerprint scanner has worked flawless since setup.
