Not quite what I was hoping for
This fragrance and the original M pure distance 03 share nearly identical note lists. This does indeed smell like pure distance in the far dry down, but the opening and mid are overpowered by the spices. It’s a decent fragrance on its own, but not a good stand in for the sadly discontinued masterpiece I’ve been after.
