Color changed

the sunflower was beautiful and bright. After firing, it came out great on some colors and on other colors it was completely faded. It seemed more to do with the color the decal was on than with the firing temperature since a few remained lovely. Some kind of rection with the base glaze that washed it out? I've used these before with good results, was surprised when so many came out poorly.
