Works well to cool my large dog. He didn’t mind wearing the vest and this vest really makes a difference on hot humid days.

Outstanding design, materials and craftsmanship

I was a bit hesitant to spend so much, but our 10 y.o. 80-lb Lab/Dane mix is increasingly suffering in hot humid Southern summers, and this was the only vest I could find with a design that seemed likely to work. I am very pleasantly surprised by the exceedingly sturdy, high-quality materials, and the excellent "overkill" sewing holding it all together. No corners have been cut in its manufacture! The design and fit are very good, and our dog happily wears this vest in the house as well as outside. The gel packs stay cool for 3 to 4 hours. I imagine it will last many years and will really help a big, older, black dog be comfortable year-round.
