Just had a group of friends over and they were all commenting on how impressed they were with how great the table felt with the foam padding. It really made a difference.

The table foam is a good underpadding, but....

This padding offers a great under felt feel for the table. Cards can more easily be brought for viewing and playing with an underpad. The foam adheres fairly easily to wood with a good adhesive spray or contact cement. I would say a 'negative' is the size restriction of 42" x 72 3/4". I had used a full 8 ft playing surface (really closer to 86" after the cut), and the foam was 14 " short or 7" on each end. "Splicing" the foam turned to be tricky and resulted in ridges and slight imperfections. Again that's only a fault because of length. Otherwise I find the foam to be ease to work and easy to adhere.
