Solid Chips

Basing my review off of a comparison to the Dice Chips (DC) that you can buy at wal mart as that was my standard going into this. Who hasn’t played with dice chips?? Putting DC on a scale from 1-10, I’d put it at a 5. Putting these new chips on a scale from 1-10, I’d say a solid 7, maybe an 8. The weight is slightly more and the texture is smoother. The designer is MUCH better looking and the color variation of the stripes adds some variety. However, because the strips are a separate injection from the base color, some of them are a little off. And the outside edge of the chip is dull compared to the tops. Yellow chips have the most variation of quality, brown and green are probably the most consistent, and black is in between. Likely because the strips are colored vs white. I also got some of the acrylic 100 chip holders and they are a thing of beauty. Shipping took a little longer than I would have liked, and the package was delivered completely smashed, slightly wet, and 1/3 of the chips were just flopping around loosely in the box. I was slightly skeptical of whether this was even legit or not when initially ordering, but as it turns out, this was a very positive experience overall. Stoked to get some games going. May even order more chips in the future. Overall great experience and glad to get a slight upgrade from my wal mart dice chips.
