The iron itself looks cheaply made, which is a bit infuriating at it’s price point. Specifically, the plastic coating on the inside surfaces looks scratchy and rough— its smooth to the touch, but looks awful and cheap. The conair travel steamer I am replacing with this honestly looked more presentable. The packaging was also falling apart as soon as I opened the shipping box. Haven’t tried it yet, but hopefully the experience using it is better than the experience unboxing it.

This is way better than any iron or other sooner than I’ve tried before. I love the dual sided plates with the steam. I only have to go over cotton blonde one time and it’s wrinkle free. I like that I don’t need other equipment except for a hanger one straightening my clothes. I would highly recommend this very easy to use.

Steam+iron is very effective! I have tested it on linen pants and a very wrinkly cotton button-down and the steam feature works wonders for linen, cotten, and silk. (I haven’t used other fabrics settings yet) I will say that without the steam I haven’t seen wrinkles come out of my silk scarves or silk skirts, and definitely not linen. I find that if I iron towards the middle of any garment it will bunch up naturally with movement of fabric and once pressed creates unintentional wrinkles I need to work to remove again. I love the crisp edge it creates with steam! I understand the reviews about weight because after my first try my right hand and wrist were so sore but now I feel I am better at handling. I love the pink color!!! I am traveling soon so I am excited about the international dual voltage of the press!! I think if the Nori Press didn’t have steam, 6 fabric temperatures, or international voltage it wouldn’t be worth it but those factors make it convenient and worth it.
