Great design but not perfect…

I ordered this crossmember for my 72 Chevelle with a TKO-600 trans. It fit well between the frame rails and lined up with existing bolt holes. However, the tail shaft of the TKO has a vertical rib that makes contact with the rear face of the crossmember even with all 4 spacer shims installed. I had to add an additional 3/16” of shims to get the trans 1/16” clearance. Cut a “v” or “u” shaped notch in your crossmember for perfection.
