An approachable tuberose!
So, after buying decants of several tuberose-forward scents, I realized that I like tuberose as a supporting note more than the star player. This scent is the only one I sampled that felt approachable and ultimately wearable to me. It’s unmistakably tuberose-forward. But there’s a balance here that I didn’t find in other scents that were objectively beautiful but never made it past the scent strip and onto my skin because I knew they weren’t for me. I notice a slight, subtle soapiness from the lavender, which makes me really happy. That might be what feels cleaner and more wearable to me than super heady uber-floral tuberose blends. Overall the scent settles into a light floral mix that I can’t easily pick apart into separate notes. Medium projection. Wear good but not great. Could stand a reapply, especially if you’re trying to take it day to night. Definitely unisex for a tuberose scent! Office appropriate if not overapplied. But I think this has the potential to be “too much” for some people, including me, if applied with a heavy hand.
