Berley Pro - is it worth the aggravation?

When a business asks for a review, I think to myself, should I just be kind and say what they want to hear or provide my true feelings? I am going with "true feelings!" I feel this is so overpriced for the $44.00 piece of plastic. Paying this much, one might think that this should fit like a glove, but it does not. For this amount of money, it should firmly conform to the bow without any additional work, it should also come with the proper adhesive to secure the almost correct fitting "bow/Keel" guard to your boat or kayak. The time spent on placement, fitting and then securing it took a good hour, if not more. So, the question - is it worth it? Your kayak costs a lot of money, some made better than others, you will have to make that decision. Are there other options, yes? Will they cost as much, in "time" not in product. It is now mounted on my kayak, does it work, yes. Hopefully, Berley Pro will take some of its earnings and improve the fit of their product and INCLUDE an adhesive that will assist in proper installation. I think some of the other products they make are excellent, this one falls low on my list.
