The Strike Gold 2109 Brown Weft Slim Tapered Jeans

A great pair of jeans with beautiful details

An absolutely dope pair of jeans, and quite possibly my favorite in my collection (and there's some tough competition there). The denim itself is beautiful, with an almost purple-ish hue because of the contrasting bits of brown weft peeking out here and there. I wear super chunky cuffs because I just can't not show off the weft. The texture is just as beautiful too. It's super rigid when first breaking them in, when I was undoing the cuffs for the first time the denim crackled and popped back into place in a really cool way. The details too, god they're good. Even the standard yellow/gold stitching really pops against the murky color of the fabric (said stitching is also some of the best I've seen). The hidden rivets are surrounded by little mounds of fabric that are already wearing in nicely too. The only "downside" to this pair is the low rise in the back, make sure to be aware of that before you buy -- these jeans do ride low. Sidenote: the taper is also fairly gentle. Overall, if you're looking for a flashier pair with a lot of really interesting little touches, this is a top-notch choice.
