Fuller than most

As a rule when making a pillow cover you make it 1 inch smaller than the insert to give it density. But this 18x18 down insert fits well in a 19x19 or an 18x18 cover depending on the look you want. It does mention you should order the same size insert as the pillow cover. It’s not necessary to order up. It is definitely a heavier insert than a 100% down pillow. I was happy I didn’t feel any large quills which can penetrate out.

Good quality but caution on sizing

Pillows are good but when sizing the website says the normal 2” over-sizing to get a full look is already take. Into account so they stress to order the size of the pillowcase and not and insert that is 2” larger than the pillowcase. I always size up and regret not doing so for my 26” pillows which are very loose. I also ordered 20” inserts for 20” pillows and those are nicely full. I would prob not order from here again because of this inconsistency.
