Heel keeps slipping down

I'm very sad. I really wanted to love these socks because they are comfortable, fit well, and are very lightweight - perfect for the summer. Unfortunately, the heel keeps bunching under my foot, no matter what shoes I am wearing. I don't understand why, because the socks aren't too large. It's super annoying, and frustrating because O bought several pairs (and they aren't cheap).

My reason for buying these white socks was to be able to see ticks. They're just ok, but after wearing realized I would have preferred a ribbing upper rather than the flat stockinette stitch upper. The elastic top is pretty tight, but they don't stay up and I wouldn't want it any tighter. Maybe making one of the regular crew socks in white would solve the issue.

The best part of these is that they stay up! I am a true fan. Lightweight and perfect for summer or a thin sock/shoe situation.
