Love Darn Tough

Live these socks for all year round. The cusion definitely helps reduce fatigue and aches after long work days. And the fact that merino wool breathes so well and dries easily without all the stink makes any of the socks from darn tough the only socks I wear. I got these ones as warranty replacements for a pair I've had for years. These socks really are Darn Tough.

I don't usually write reviews and when I do they are overwhelmingly negative ones. Like the Chinese Razor Blades for my Schick --- they weren't made for shaving. They were made for practicing first aid on catastrophic lacerations to the face. I concluded they were the reason men prefer beards. Now, such is not the case for these Darn Tough socks. They are everything they promise to be. I ordered a couple of pairs. I liked them so much, I ordered two more pair. I'm not sure I need more than one pair though. These socks feel wonderful on the feet. They last. I mean, I've had socks that pretended to be good. Alas, they wore holes in the heels. I am almost ashamed to say that I have been wearing the first pair of Darn Tough's for over a month . . . not even washed. No smell. No wear at all. Comfortable as can be. I wear them for a few hours of the day and then rest them for the next day. I don't think I can wear these out. I'm trying. I want to test the guarantee. It's not looking good though. I'm heading off to Ireland soon. Based on this experience, my goal to save space in my luggage by taking just four pairs of Darn Tough's may be needing some adjustment. I probably only need one pair. But I'll take a second pair just in case the Guinness somehow causes me to return to the hotel without my shoes and socks. A side benefit of these socks on this trip means that my luggage will have more room for Sean's, and perhaps even some St Patrick's Irish Whisky in my luggage. You can't ask for more than that can you? Especially from a pair of socks. Alright . . . here ya go -- THESE SOCKS are GREAT! Never had better.

Great, as expected

These are exactly as expected and consistent with the others I own. They fit well, great design, they have great performance cushioning and clean up easily. I also appreciate the low impact mailer and that they came faster than promised by a few days.
