It actually exceeded my expectations. I go it for my cat because she gets into things and has mangled hairs that regular brushes do not get out. Short hairs are worse than long hair cats, for shedding. After running the brush through a couple times my cat stopped the excessive licking, lay down and relaxed the rest of the day. She hasn't been licking since. This brush was a big help.

This is best deshedder brush! I have used many but this one works great!

I love this grooming rake. My dog is part husky and has a very thick double coat. After 2 years of struggling with shedding and matting in spite of frequent brushing, my sister suggested a grooming rake. It really works. I have been using it for a week and have been amazed at the amount of fur it has removed. He seems to like it and dozes while I brush him. He looks gorgeous with his thinner smoother coat and is shedding less.
