Mens Waterproof Jacket – Gallanto Wax Cotton Armoured Motorcycle Jacket

Great Vintage looking jacket

I Wanted a Belstaff Bike jacket to look the part riding my new Royal Enfield classic. This is just for summer wear. This Gallanto looks the part but £300 cheaper. My main riding gear is way to hot for this weather. The Gallanto is cool to wear, comfortable and probably waterproof, at least the water beeded off when I threw some over it. Well made, all in all very happy with this summer light weight armoured bike jacket.

Waterproof?

It's a good looking coat. It seems pretty tough. But I bought waxed cotton expecting excellent waterproofing. I immediately ran some water over a part of the sleeve, just for a couple of seconds, but it seems as if the water has penetrated through to the inside. I may be wrong, but I thought the water would've beaded off the fabric. Initially I'm very dissapointed.

Excellent Jacket

Very good value, well made. Only improvements would be a waterproof lapel pocket for wallet. The neck strap is a bit diddly, velcro would be better, or omit it entirely. Thanks for the great service.
