Description
The post mount or (side mount) will mount to the side of a fence of vertical board. It is approx. 3"x3" and includes the 14" rod (not pictured).
Mounting screws are not included in the purchase of this mount.

Just what I needed
The mount works good. I received the weathervane as a gift with the roof bracket, but I did not want to put holes in my recently replaced roof. I decided to mount it off my fence, needing a different bracket. The original unit came with the pole, and the new bracket came with a pole, I had a machinist at work make a little sleeve that I could stack both poles together to reach over my fence and let the directionals for the weathervane clear the fence. Everything works perfect except the wind will turn the top pole because there’s nothing securing it to the one fixed to the fence, I need to tape it, but I didn’t want to use something that doesn’t match the copper vein powder coat. Maybe I’ll find a tape to match.
