The Secret to Healthy Turf

Last year I sent an email to Ferticell about some product I saw online somewhere and I got a call from their product Rep in the southeastern US. I told him about my struggles keeping my Empire Zoysia healthy. He told me about Pro K and that he’s used this product maintaining zoysia sports fields and alternates it’s use with a certain silica powder driven by nitrate (that’s hard to find and not sold here) but the results from spoon feeding Pro-K at 2oz per 1ksqft every week were outstanding. After a year of fighting off uncontrollable fungus issues I started using this stuff in the winter (South FL doesn’t go dormant) and my turf became way way stronger. My growth was explosive in the spring but most importantly with strong blades and roots but no fungus. I kept up with my alternating fungicide use throughout the season and kept waiting for the fungus to arrive but it never did. I mean never. Even now going into winter when we usually get bad large patch my turf is strong and disease free. Yes I use all sorts of other stuff on my lawn but I believe that Pro-K was the secret to my success.
