first time using a glass file, no complaints! glass files leave a beautiful polished finish, which can be an issue if you're not painting or varnishing over the part (it'll have shiny patches), so be aware of that. love em! pretty easy to keep clean, too they also came really quick! didn't have to wait almost at all before cracking into the kit i wanted them for :)

Great gadget for both entry and intermediate builders

Really a life safer for those that hate seeing nubs on their gunplas. Unlike traditional sand papers, the glass files give you a glossy and shinny finish. Have to be mindful that it may not turn out to be what you want, my suggestion is alway to use the tool on the excess from the runners and practice the finishing you would like to see from there.
