A friend of mine spent some time in hidden valley meditating with the SRF monks and said that having the hips elevated slightly above the knees was a game changer in enhancing his meditation and comfort. Months ago, I ordered 2 blue raw silk cushions for our visiting monastics. They are a beautiful blue and very well made. So, I ordered 2 more for our family's personal use. We sit on chairs and the cushions add the right height and forward angle.
