Leather is soft and supple so these wont need much breaking in. Not a huge fan if the silver laces but they come with a pair of white akso so i swapped them. Expensive but most likely worth it in the long run if they last a few seasons. I have had several foot ops so finding comfy attractive shoes is hard. These fit the bill perfectly
