Rip Jaws boot hot spot removal tool

A few helpful hints would be nice. Eg. place a towel on the outside to reduce ring burns. Can a low compression for a long time work as well as a quick hard squeeze? Can a lubricant help such as saddle soap or lexol.? What warming temp. Works best.

Great tool. A little more length would be great. Hard to find this tool for taller ski boots. I used for ski boots and need a little more length…but helped what I could reach.

Very well designed tool. A bit pricey but it's a specialized tool with a simple, repeatable function.
