Another outstanding set of material for repertoire at the Grade 5 level

I've been a dedicated student of the guitar for the last four years, and started with Bradford's free Method book 1. All his grade books are fantastic: they first prepare you for the piece through digestible chord sequences or melodic runs, and then one starts with the piece. I bought the grade 5 book to work on Maria Luisa (just started on it), and it has the same useful preparatory chords and scales that really help one to understand the harmonies and prepares one well to start playing the piece. Bradford's lectures are the best that I know of, for learning new repertoire. Highy recommended.

Best Resource Ever

I've been following along with the Werner site ever since Covid. I wish I had found it sooner, might have prevented a lot of bad habits creeping in. As a returning Classical Guitarist, I went back to basics using primarily Werner method/site and resources as a guide and it was like putting on your favourite warm cosy jumper. The advice echoed much of what I was taught back in the day. By far the best feature is hearing and seeing the easy pieces (so called ) played to a very high standard which provides a good guide to performing a piece not just playing to fill the sound space and all at the touch of a button whatever time of day. The guidance is always clear and concise and allows you to make your own informed decisions about what best suits your level. The curated repertoires so far have been about spot on each one pushing a little further with musical Knowledge and technical ability. I'm about to embark on this collection of Grade 5 lessons and I'm sure like the others before will enjoy the journey as much as the reaching the destination. Thanks so much to Werner and all that support him .. I know how hard it is to make just one good video :-) you provide a fabulous resource....
