Feather - Popular Double Edge Razor

Wow, wonderful shave. I'm six shaves in and it still shaves a cut above any other razor I've used. I imagine I'll get another three or four before it's comparable to your standard disposable. Then I'll just flip the head. Perhaps not the most economically sound move for the company. But if they keep at this quality then I'm going to be a lifelong customer. This is my first safety razor so maybe this is just run of the mill. The handle and the mechanisms feel cheap but they are and still function well so no real complaints there.

Performs as well as razors costing many more times this made in Japan unit. It depends what you’re looking for. It is utilitarian, not a “luxury “ cool looking razor. It does have some plastic for those looking to avoid plastic. It secures the blade perfectly and tolerances are better than that of my 1980’s vintage Gillette

Feather tto very pleasantly surprised

Pleasantly surprised. The head is the perfect size for under the nose. I have seen other reviews call it too light in weight for a starter razor it is just right. I must experiment but the shave is amazing. I need to put the feather blade in another razor to see what happens. It shaves many times above the cost
