I have tried a couple other products on carpet over the years and it worked ok. I recently picked up a 2006 Lexus RX330 for my son. There were several spills between the console and seats. Carpet Bomber did a fantastic job on it! I was amazed at how a majority of these God-know-how-old stains disappeared on just the initial scrub. The extractor really got an amount I was happy with. Unfortunately, I ran out 2/***** through the job. I used another readily-available carpet cleaner and it just did not work as well. Needless to say, I ordered a gallon and I am set for a while.

You need an extractor

This product works extremely well if you’re using an extractor. I first tried it with just a shop vac. It clearly loosened a ton of dirt, but I couldn’t actually pull the grime out. Wiping with a microfiber didn’t help either—it just spread it around and made things worse. Once I switched to an extractor, the difference was huge. I pulled out gallons of black water from a 20-year-old truck, and the fabric came back to life. Pros: Breaks up deep, embedded dirt effectively Works extremely well when paired with an extractor Cons: Not very effective with a shop vac alone Requires proper extraction to get real results Bottom line: Great product, but only if you have (or plan to use) an extractor. Otherwise, you won’t get the results you’re expecting.
