I found the 777 Cadet Program to be an excellent introduction to the Boeing 777, particularly as someone who has recently been learning the FlightFactor 777 v2 in X-Plane 12.
The course does a great job of teaching not just which buttons to press, but why things are done the way they are. Ben's teaching style is clear, methodical, and easy to follow, while the late Captain Myron Ashcraft brings invaluable real-world airline experience that helps explain the reasoning behind the aircraft's systems and procedures. Together they make what could be an intimidating aircraft feel approachable for a new Boeing pilot.
The only downside is that some of the simulator-specific references are beginning to show their age. Flight simulation has moved on considerably since the course was produced, with newer aircraft, updated add-ons, and different tools now available. That said, the core knowledge, aircraft handling, and systems training remain highly relevant because the real aircraft hasn't changed.
Having recently started flying the FlightFactor 777, I found the course extremely useful and relevant. It gave me a much better understanding of the aircraft and helped me avoid simply memorising procedures without understanding them.
I'd happily recommend the 777 Cadet Program to anyone wanting to transition into the Boeing 777. Even if some of the simulator references are dated, the quality of the instruction from Ben and Captain Myron Ashcraft makes it well worth the investment.

I love the video format obviously as I’m a repeat customer, but it would be awesome if there was some documentation included with your courses
Perhaps something documents to reference when I’m sitting infront of my simulator and I’ve forgotten some of the things I seen in the videos, maybe checklists but ones that include workflows to help somebody completely new to an aircraft get the workflows into memory

Despite reaching a certain level of understanding of the aircraft and its systems, I still refer to the videos to make sure I got and understood it correctly. Makes my flying a whole lot more immersive.
