ML 101 is a nicely proportioned dry fly hook

Hook shank is correct length for many of my favorite dry flies. The gape and throat curve nicely, and hook points are sticky sharp. Snapshots are "Tied Down Caddis", a Charlie Craven pattern, in 12 and 14, white tail deer hair, tan Antron body. Size 14 and 16 are best on my northeastern river. Try elk hair for a lighter look.

GREAT hooks for Tenkara flies...

Fine wire, strongly tempered, super sharp and the size 12 and 14s are my favorite hooks for all types of Tenkara Flies. Since I found these, I haven't tied with any other hooks.
