I hadn't tried a furled leader before, but I like how it casts and how it drifts with a dry fly. It definitely needs to be treated with a long-lived floatant.

I purchase new furled leaders every spring from Moonlit. I fish a pressured trout fishery and I can always rely on moonlit furled leaders to turn a fly over flawlessly. I have turned a few friends on to them now and they make great trout opener weekend gifts with our bottles of Mad Angler Bourbon.
