Scarlet Espresso

Great espresso

These beans stay in our espresso machine at all times. They make a great americano and a lovely cappuccino, and they are consistently great. We've been using them for about 6 months now.

Scarlet Espresso is one of my favorite Jaho coffees (which is saying a LOT - we drink a lot of different Jaho varieties and have never been disappointed)!

Amazing Espresso

I was pleasantly surprised by the Scarlet Espresso. The beans arrived freshly roasted, having been shipped just one day after the roast date. It is a medium-dark (bordering on dark) roast with low acidity and zero bitterness. After experimenting with 3–4 different recipes, I settled on 18g in and 38g out in 22–24 seconds. The profile is incredibly smooth, featuring distinct notes of chocolate, coconut, and hazelnut. I highly recommend this blend.
