Vortex Summit Carbon II Tripod Kit

The first tripod I received was broken less than 5 minutes out of the box. I was testing it, and one of the legs was pretty stiff in opening. I was extending it and closing it to see if it just needed worked in, and a section on the leg completely detached a plastic piece fell out, and the leg would not go back in. I contacted Vortex, and they were fantastic. they had a new tripod sent out and a return label for the broken one, only costing me one weekend of hunting. I have been extremely careful with the new one, and so far it seems to be in better shape than the first, but time will tell its durability as well. The biggest comfort I have is Vortex is very honorable with their warranty, so that does give me some piece of mind. I do like this tripods lightweight, and for it's weight it is still very stable.

Solid tripod. Really light.

Fits my Vortex Razor HD 27-60X85 perfectly. It's also really light, so going to be great when I get deep into the woods next season.

Light and sturdy. Typical vortex gear. Not topline, but affordable and more than sufficient.
