Not what i expected from a made in USA pair of 100+ dollar sandals
First the positive - the sole is super grippy and the laces are awesome too.
But the pair I got developed problems after a couple of months of light usage. The outsole (which is a tire tread) and the foot bed are stuck together and the sticking was not all that good - its come apart in the heel and toe area and if i keep using it, they will completely separate. Never happened with my Oso Flacos (which were not US made). They stuck together like there was no tomorrow. But the guys at Luna were super helpful and offered a replacement - haven't used the replacement pair yet.
Also, downside of having a super durable tire touching the ground is that (i suspect) they will not mold to my feet like typical Lunas do. Its a plus for folks who like a flat sandal but personally I look forward to the sandals taking the shape of my feet.
