You can tell I love this replica of a New York City Library Card. I had it originally on my charm bracelet and somehow misplaced the bracelet, and charms, including this one. I waited for it to return so that I could make sure I purchased it again. As a native New Yorker growing up, I knew I was grown when I could ride the subway and end up at the Manhattan Library with the lions out front. Although many years ago, and miles far away, every time I look at this library card replica on my wrist, it reminds me of the good old days of library cards and catalog cards and the world that opens up when you enter the public library.
