My 2000 7.3 was in need of a service, mainly fuel filter and air filter, so I purchased this kit knowing I will use the oil filter eventually. I stock oil Motorcraft filter FL1995, but my stores are low and the air filters (Purolator) I had stockpiled, from auto parts closeouts, were causing restriction earlier than designed, so those got tossed to the garbage. I was impressed with the quality of the Doc's air filter element and some heavy driving has shown that the restriction issue is cleared up using the Doc's filter. I purchased (4) additional air filters, so planning to run these for a while. The fuel filter components and assembly were also high quality. The lid sealing o-ring is not the tapered type requiring precise positioning, it does have a raised ring on both sides though and my fuel bowl seemed to accept it with no issues. I'm not excited about the form of the plastic spin on fuel filter lid, the filter assemblies are pretty notorious for sticking and there isn't a lot of plastic to get purchase on with the Doc's filter lid...but I suppose that is a review to conduct some miles down the line. 5 Stars, because the quality is high...the installs were easy as Factory, and no adjustments were necessary after install as is the case with some aftermarket products.
