Serious Perfumery Starts With Good Scent Strips
The first thing I noticed was how well they absorb material without immediately collapsing or over-soaking. Even my lavender tincture stayed clearly detectable on the strip for days, which says a lot about the paper quality and structure.
They feel clean, professional, wide, and long enough to work comfortably during serious material study. There’s also enough space to properly write the material name, dilution, percentage, and time intervals without everything becoming cramped.
Small detail maybe, but when you spend hours smelling and comparing materials every day, a good scent strip makes a real difference.

I actually like other shapes more
Though they look very nice, I think I prefer the design sold by Perfumer's Apprentice more. They have a wider label that is easier to write all of the important information on like the material, dilution, and the date and time dipped, and their square end holds more fragrance than the pointed end on these. It's all minor quibbles though.

They‘ve upgraded the quality
I always order my caps at the fragrance foundry so I was more than pleased to find out that the caps were upgraded! I was happy with the old ones but the new ones really feel more solid and quality
