I’ve been purchasing these 2 ply boas in and off for a few yrs now and the quality of my most recent purchase is certainly not as good as years past. Disappointing! Much thinner and less full. I can get the same on Amazon for less price

Quality has dropped.

My latest 2 ply boa was quite a disappointment. It wasn't as full as previous boas I've purchased. It was pretty shy on the ostrich and heavy on the marabou. Even after the 24 hour loft and steaming+ blow drying, it looked more like a 1ply boa. I make costumes and the inconsistency makes it hard when ostrich is so expensive, having to replace a bad product that is not exchangeable, eats into already tight profits. The shipping was quick though.
