Perfect Fit for Larger Frames & Built for the Texas Heat

I wanted to leave a review for the Fell & Fair Knights Surcoat in blue, especially for anyone on the larger side trying to figure out sizing. For reference, I’m 6’2”, around 325 lbs, with a 56” chest, and I ordered the 3XL. The fit is honestly excellent—comfortable without feeling tight anywhere. I wear it over a tunic, and both layers still flow freely, which is exactly what you want for movement and comfort during long events. I LARP in Texas, and the linen on these surcoats really shines in the heat. It’s breathable and doesn’t feel suffocating even during the summer, which is a huge deal if you’re outside all day. They do mention that dye lots can vary, but I’ve ordered multiple items from Fell & Fair in the same colors, and everything has matched extremely well. For my blue and yellow Golden Blades setup, the consistency has been spot on. Overall, this is one of those “buy once, cry once” pieces. The quality justifies the price, and it’s something I fully expect to keep using for years. I will absolutely continue buying from Fell & Fair. The only regret I have is not ordering this sooner and not wasting money on my other garments which will now be sitting unused.

Item looks and feels great. And fits just right over my chainmail, and I have a 44"chest. Worth the price for getting just what I wanted.
