"Death of a Rockstar" feature film on Blu Ray (with BONUS FEATURES!)

Everything came in perfectly! Got myself the Blue Ray, and the CD! The .movie is surprisingly good, even considering the drawing quality. It looks about how you'd expect based off the trailer and teasers, but it's very crisp and consistent, and the animation itself is solid. It is not drawn amazingly. But again, surprisingly, it holds up against some very old school cartoons. The plot itself is solid, and takes on a twist one doesn't quite expect with "rebell against the man" type plotlines, flipping the script in a way that actually makes sense, and adds depth and growth to the main character. I'll say that the ending, however, in both the canon ending and the alternate ending, was not that satisfying, to me. The music, of course, is the best part. Between melodic and robust, the music delivers with a legitimacy to rival the very Greats his music aims to honor. If you like Queen, or Led Zeppelin, or any of the "old school" rock bands, you'lllve this music just the same.

A Technicolor trip through loads of 70s inspired songs. Lots of fun. Recommended!
