Used to link downhaul primary line to of laser to top of its kicker.
Seems ok but have not sailed with it this season.

Work well for Sit on top kayak seats
The standard hooks for the Club SOTs rot in the saltwater so I replace with these. Good upgrade.
They also work well as quick links on club Lasers.
Only problem is that the opening is sharp and not well finished. Usually they need a quick wipe around with wet and dry paper and a file.
