Trust Hackamore TP Bit

Well-made - but narrow, heavy & HARD noseband

Returned It - This item is well-made, but not what I thought it was based off the picture & site description. Buyer FYI the noseband material is HARD, weighted, and very rigid with zero flex resulting in a very narrow fit. My horse is standard size (16hh, TBXQH), so the item will likely only fit the narrow-muzzled horse. I was expecting the material to be lighter and give a little so that I could mold the noseband to my horses head, but no dice. And honestly I was not expecting the noseband material to be so heavy. It's a heavy hackamore with 95% of the weight due to the noseband. Once I had it in hand, I knew that even if the noseband did fit that I was not likely to use it on my horse due to fear of damage to his nasal area. If you do purchase this you WILL NEED a fleece or padded cover for the noseband. Overall, it's all part of the online horse shopping experience! It was worth the try at least. If the side attachments of this hackamore were available, I would purchase those and put a softer, flexible noseband on.
