Black Velvet
Amazing! I read the label. Chocolate, strawberry, cherry etc. I opened the bag today and could smell the strawberry and cherry. Brewed an espresso. Then another. This is a beautiful coffee blend. It won't be my last bag of Black Velvet!

Different, I like it!
I've loved Danes coffee since I first had the Carumba at USQ years ago. Branching out I recently tried the Ascension and it honestly wasn't my flavour. At the time the Danes staff suggested I try Black Velvet and for my next order I did.
This one impressed me. Like REALLY impressed me.
The first hit is strawberry, and then comes berry and chocolate. There's a bit of caramel in there somewhere that keeps the flavour balanced. As a flat black or espresso drinker (I gave up milk coffee a while back) I'm really impressed.
Following the barista guide using a 2:1 brew ratio, I can pull a smooth, beautifully balanced shot with a silky crema that bursts with flavours unlike any other beans I've tried.
I don't know if I can be bothered trying other coffees now, it's just too good.

Wild and moreish
This is a truly remarkable blend. It's absolutely bursting with berry fruit, the current edition having a crazy good strawberry note. Just when you think it can't get any better than it is, it seems to magically love every brew method - espresso; flat white; stove top; filter pour over; or cold brew. Don't worry, despite all this, it still tastes like coffee of course! Only warning is, you may induce a love of coffee for others in the house who haven't liked coffee before.
