Multi-connection Plate

Well-made and sturdy piece of equipment with one shortcoming - it is supplied with two metric bolts for mounting. Unfortunately, the mounting holes in the base are UNC 1/4-20 imperial, so the bolts don't fit. A quick trip to the hardware shop fixed the issue

A very well made and machined accessory plate, nicely anodised to go with a lot of current cameras. I was impressed that the mounting surface is flat and as such, can be laid flat on a dovetail plate and with the number of 1/4 x 20 mounting holes it makes for any easy connection. I have this mounted on the top Losmandy style dovetail plate I use with my ED80, it easily allows the use of the newer type UniGuide guide scope bases and allows the guide scope and guide camera to be placed over the centre of the scopes balance point. In short, an excellent piece of kit.
