Amarelli Colorizia are little pieces of chewy Italian liquorice flavoured with star anise that has then been wrapped in a sweet sugar coating. The liquorice is the traditional Italian type (bitter) made sweet through the sugar coating.

Subtle flavours

I bought these as the Amerelli Sassolini were out of stock. The Colorizia are nice and bright but small and the flavour is quite subtle. If you’re not after a strong liquorice or aniseed flavour these are great. For me, I prefer stronger flavours of the Sassolini.

NOT SUITABLE FOR NUT ALLERGY

Hi just a head up before the website is updated hopefully. I purchased September 2025 and the box states may contain nuts. The website states its safe for nut allergy but the import sticker was covering the warning on my box. They look tasty though. And delivery was fast. Well packaged. Other items I chose were listed correctly and safe to eat.
