Undetermined
The plants appeared in good shape when they arrived. I a day or so later one of the two plants had some leaves where some animal bit off about half.. The other plant was intact. I don't recall if the damaged plant came that way and I didn't notice or if if happened later. Looked like some rodent such as a rat or squirrel had little snack.I sprayed Maggie's 3 in 1 garden spray for organic gardening. For insects, mites and disease..
The plants then sat for two or three weeks looking green and okay. Yesterday I noticed some new and bigger leaves on both. They have had a lot of rain and my hygrometer always shows moist to off the chart moist.but the leaves are are still green I also added some 10-10-10 fertilizer and and that may have started some growth.
So I think they may make it in spite of the rain and clay soil. Will see.

Doing very well
Both hydrangeas are doing very well. I can't wait until they bloom.
