My wife said what she really wants for her birthday is more time; so I thought of buying her an hourglass. We drove up to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada for her birthday and when she opened the present she was delighted with laughter upon unwrapping the hourglass. She really likes her "Time in a bottle". The craftsmanship of the zebra wood was greatly to her liking.

Object of great beauty

I purchased this to remind me of how precious our time is. Nearing the end of my life, I find myself spending time on pointless activities (worry about election, spending time on twitter, etc). Turning the hourglass reminds me to spend my time on what is most important (such as playing with my dogs, playing the piano). The zebra wood and the workmanship are outstanding. Thanks to the artist and to justhourglasses for this.

Product was great, but the customer service was even better! Shannon emailed me back and forth to work out the details for engraving and shipping. Of course I was late, so she helped me expedite the process to make sure I had it in time for my anniversary! Highly recommend!
