Think carefully about buying this motor.
Spent more than several hours cantering and re-centring this motor, including with micrometer. I have also watched what must be close to all the YouTube videos on this topic. The one by a guy with a thick English accent nails it. The two captive screws leave the motor inherently unbalanced pulling the motor to one side. A third captive screw at the top of the motor may have counterbalanced this effect/problem. Nonetheless having carefully centered everything, mounting plate screws with a dab of blue loctite, tightened down the lock screws to the shaft so it is seated on the shaft, carefully “just tightened” the captive screws with a dab of blue locative I have a working motor. That said I still have a motor that “hunts”. The gears grind noisily. Like others who have been through this. It does this even when not attached to the focusing knob. Nonetheless the motor focuses and calibrates. This will be a balance over time between managing your focus and remounting the motor when it eventually works is screws loose.
