Dainty Rope Chain

I don't typically wear silver, but a friend got me a cute charm and necklace on a even daintier white gold chain. The clasp is so fragile, I won't wear it. This necklace is perfect for the charm, so now i can wear it.

I want to like this necklace! It's the perfect length (after buying a second one) and works great with charms. But, I'm finding that my neck and body must function different. As a heavier white woman (than the the beautiful Aliya), I found the 16 in dainty rope chain was a choker, and the 18 inch one fit me how the image looked for the 16 inch here. It also catches and pulls out my hair. I bought this chain to keep on 24/7, but I have to take it off after a few hours or all the hairs at the nape of my neck will get pulled out. My first purchase with Stay Golden was a dainty rope chain bracelet, and it went on my wrist and hasn't left, so I'm bummed that the matching necklace chain doesn't work for me. They truly don't tarnish or discolor at all. I'm gonna try to find another chain, but looking at the inventory, I kind of want one of the ones that are sold with a charm already on it. It feels odd that those chains, plain, aren't an option.
