I've never planted corn or sorghum before so i tried a few locations in my yard. It definitely does better with morning sun- approx. 4-5 ft tall now, (compared to the blistering afternoon sun- 6-12 inches tall) in the South Okanagan and much better in well fertilized & watered soil! Less than half the seeds came up (once again, I believe that's my fault)

100% germination.
Planted May 15, as of June 3 up about 2.5 inches. Last year grew to 10-12 feet. Great ornamental crop.
