Heavenly Scent (by monks!)
We have been growing Matucana for several years and love the old-world origin story and scent. My experience is that if some seeds volunteer by dropping in the late summer, the following spring the plants are more robust, at least here on Vancouver Island.

Sweet Pea Matucana
I was doubtful these beauties would tolerate the past hot 6 weeks with virtually no rain this summer, yet they have done splendidly!! Bottom-watered beside my cucumbers with drip hosing, I crossed my fingers. They kept climbing & are now so fragrant plus stunning, I will be planting them again & again !
