First time I tried this oil, it made my beard feel amazingly soft. I did happen to notice that the initial scent wasn't as heavy as the other products I use. Was pleasantly surprised that, while not heavy, stayed consistently "there" for most of the day. Great product. Worth a true beardsman's consideration
